The Role:
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. You don’t need to be a pharmaceutical expert or a sales guru yet. We will teach you that. What we need is your confidence, your drive, and your fluency in Italian.
You will be the first line of engagement for our sales team, focusing exclusively on the Italian market. Your main goal is to spark business conversations, identify opportunities, and open doors for our Senior Sales Managers to close. In this role, you will work directly with our Business Development and Sales Director, who is an experienced industry leader with an open approach, ready to guide you through the specifics of the business.
What You Will Do:
- Be the Detective: Research potential clients in the Italian pharma sector to identify the right decision-makers and organizational structures.
- Be the Voice: Make outbound calls and send emails to introduce SoftGroup. You aren’t expected to close complex deals; you are starting relationships.
- Qualify: Determine if a prospect is a good fit for our technology and set up meetings for our Senior Sales team.
- Collaborate: Ensure a smooth handover of leads to the team with clear notes, dates, and profile information.
- Learn & Adapt: Master our product knowledge and industry specifics (we provide the training) to overcome initial objections.
- Maintain Data: Keep our CRM database clean and updated with accurate prospect information.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Language Skills: Native/Fluent Italian and Excellent English are mandatory. You must be able to switch between languages effortlessly.
- Confidence: Picking up the phone doesn’t scare you. You are comfortable speaking with senior stakeholders and gatekeepers.
- Curiosity: You are interested in the IT/Pharma industry and want to build a career in high-end B2B sales.
- Resilience: You understand that “no” is just part of the process to get to a “yes.” You stay motivated and result-driven.
Nice to Have (But not required):
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role (Support, Retail, etc.).
- Experience using LinkedIn for networking.
- Familiarity with CRM tools.
